Are the chemicals we use safe for my children and pets?
YES. All our chemicals are safe for Children and Pets. With any spray treatment if treating the inside it may involve a vacating period depending on which treatment is being done.
Ask when booking if you are required to vacate. Rodent treatments do not require a vacating period
How long does the spray last for?
The treatment will last up 6 to 12 months depending on environment, time of year it is applied and weather conditions. We offer a 3-month Warranty on spray and rodent treatments after the initial control period and is subject to recommendations and advice being actioned by the homeowner.
Do I need to take my pets away?
You don’t need to remove your pets as we can work with you to arrange for them to be away from the area we are treating. Fish tanks and bird cages should be covered with a sheet, towel or Cling Wrap and the pump turned off.
Do I need to do anything before the treatment?
If you are having a rodent treatment, you do not need to do anything. If you are having a general pest spray treatment you should put all food items away, including cookware, crockery and cutlery into drawers or cupboards. We also recommend you cover any outdoor furniture or items you do not want chemical on as sometimes the chemical can drip onto these items. Outside, all clothes should be removed from the clothesline prior to the appointment, all windows closed and shutters open, pet bowls emptied and turned over. We also ask if you can please pick up any dog droppings to avoid us stepping in them or it getting on our equipment. For a general pest spray treatment, we request that the more furniture you move away from the walls the better the treatment will be. We will not be moving your furniture or belongings during the treatment; this is the responsibility of the homeowner. We request all this to be done before we arrive to avoid delays. If you are having a termite inspection, please ensure all belongings and furniture are moved away from walls to ensure a thorough inspection. If this is not done it will be recorded as a limitation on your report as the area cannot be inspected. The technician will advise if there are any other requirements on the day.
How can I pay?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) all card payments incur a 1.9% surcharge, Cash or account if arranged prior to treatment. We also now offer Zip pay which is a interest free payment plan. This will require preapproval prior to a booking being made.
What do I do if I find termites?
First things first do not panic. Do not spray them with anything as this will cause them to close off that area and move elsewhere making it harder to locate them. Best thing to do is to not disturb them anymore than you have. If possible cover the area with duct tape or masking tape and call us immediately. The quicker this is actioned the better off your home will be. Remember DO NOT SPRAY THEM!!!
Can I stay during a termite treatment?
Yes. All our Termite treatments are completely safe as we use the best Termiticides on the market and all the chemicals are in the soil and not airborne.
